Pursuing a career in cosmetology was a natural progression for Alicia. Her fascination with beauty started at a young age. Perusing magazines, admiring hairstyles, reading articles about the latest trends and best products led to -mom being on the hook for teaching her how to braid-grandma adding “make up counter” as a stop for back-to-school shopping-dad gaining an entire new level of patience.
Eager to practice any learned skill, Sunday football gatherings at her dad's house turned into opportunities for her to connect with guests and offer hair services during commercial breaks.
